Home Sweet HomeMay 2016
The Riverfront Playhouse is more motivated than ever to start renovations for their new building. Located on 1950 California Street, the building used to be home to RIOH then Celebration. Located in downtown Redding, this building will allow for a beautiful theatre and performing arts center which should seat approximately 150 patrons.
Purchase of the building would not have been completed without the help from Alan and Sherry Shufelberger, owners of Redding Roofing Supply. Riverfront will be working diligently with Trilogy Architecture on their renovation plans. Many other individuals who have poured their time and energy into this are the backbone of Riverfront. A big thank you to the community theatre patrons and supporters.
The Riverfront will continue to present shows at their 1620 East Cypress Street location until their new theatre is fully operational. Opening May 21st and running through June 11th is Love, Loss & What I Wore by Nora and Delia Ephron, Directed by Marilyn Robrahn. Tickets will be a available through the Cascade Theatre Box Office. Be sure to check out their website for other shows. For further information feel free to contact Dan Kupsky, Board Chair at 530-524-1440 or by email at [email protected]
