Frank Treadway of Redding shares his collection of paintings & photographs of Mount Shasta
"The Many Views of Mt. Shasta is a collection of fine art and photos of the one of the more beautiful and mysterious mountains on our planet.” ~ Frank Treadway
Frank Treadway is an avid art collector, amateur photographer and creator of beautiful jewelry. Frank was born in the old Eskaton Hospital on Chestnut Street in Mt. Shasta City, CA on December 13, 1941 to Jesse and Helen Treadway, and now lives on Chestnut St. in Redding, CA!
Frank has collected images of Mt. Shasta – paintings in various mediums and photos – all framed, for the last 30 years. One of the paintings is a early 1900 oil of Mt Shasta by Eliza Barchus, Oregon State Artist” In this exhibit, you see an example of his collection and the place of his birth, featuring the wonderful mountain that has brought many interesting folks to its base, seeking the mystery that some maintain it exudes.
