As longtime friends of the Oaksong Music Society, Blame Sally was chosen to headline the final show of the Society’s 2015-2016 concert season. I can’t think of a better way to close out our season!” said Oaksong Music Society Artistic Director Pete Angwin.
Blame Sally’s music has been described as “emotionally charged, highly melodic, and irresistibly compelling.” The powerhouse quartet consists of Pam Delgado (percussion and guitar), Renee Harcourt (guitar, bass, banjo and harmonica), Jeri Jones (guitar, bass, dobro, and mandolin) and Monica Pasqual (piano, accordion and melodica), and they all sing – beautifully! All four women are exceptional songwriters, instrumentalists, and vocalists, and in performance they switch off lead vocals and trade instruments, creating music marked by funky, melodic rhythms, skilled instrumentation, and beautiful, intricate harmonies. Plus, they know how to tell a good story and make the audience feel like part of the show.
Tickets for the show are on sale now at The Music Connection, 3086 Bechelli Lane, Redding. (530) 223-2040
